Drums roll, lights dim, curtains open, the spotlight turned on our star and everyone’s favourite, Adefisayo Enikanoselu. Adefisayo holds the managerial position of Operations and Strategy in Octamile. More importantly, she occupies an enormous space in everyone’s heart. This is born from the admiration for her consistency in serving the company and improving every employee’s life cycle.
We are glad to have found the perfect glue that keeps the organisation together and functioning optimally.
We reached out to three Octamilers to describe Adefisayo with a few words. Here is how it went:

We had a quick interview to reveal new and exciting things about her. As with other interviews we’ve had, we enjoyed working on this.
Q: Please introduce yourself, what you do and the team you work with.
A: Hello, guys. My name is Fisayo. I manage the operations and strategy department at Octamile. My role is interesting because I get involved in all the activities and functions at Octamile. In a nutshell, I help coordinate people, processes, structures and activities across the organisation
Q: How did you get started in the industry?
A: I was on a project with a client in the fintech industry. I got to do some research and found the tech space quite interesting; this piqued my interest in exploring the tech space. I came across Octamile and found what they do to be unique and Innovative. The Traditional Insurance space doesn’t have a history of satisfying its customers, and Insurtech is bringing technology to turn the tables and tides.
Q: What do you find interesting about the insurtech space?
A: What I find most interesting is that I can purchase my insurance, get my insurance certificate almost instantly and make claims in the comfort of my home, excluding the stressful back and forths with insurance agents.
Q: If you could tell your 13-year-old self one thing, what would it be?
A: I would tell myself not to be shy and make friends. Growing up, I was a shy kid, which limited me from doing many things.
Q: If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
A: Lupita Nyong’o. I love her energy, and I love her movies. She is absolutely talented and stunning.
Q: What do you like most about octamile?
A: The fact that everyone is easy to relate with, and there’s always room for opinion sharing. Also, the dress-down culture, I don’t have to overthink what to wear.
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
A: Super mental/emotional strength. Sometimes, I get overwhelmed with tasks, especially when they come unplanned. If I had super strength, I could achieve these tasks and have time to relax.
Q: What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery, and why?
A: A house. It will be nice not to have to bother about the house rent.
